From the very first floor plans, accessibility is a key consideration, as one in four people in the European Union has some form of disability. But accessibility can make everyday life much easier not only for people with disabilities, but for everyone - parents with pushchairs, elderly people, or people carrying large luggage.

At Paulinyi & Partners, accessibility is therefore an integral part of the design process, and we anticipate accessibility for all from the very beginning of projects. Fortunately, there are a number of practical interior design solutions for this, which were presented by our interior design project manager, Orsolya Vass. To help us find the best one, we use simulation techniques that can model the movement of people in the building and allow us to compare different options in terms of material use and expected costs.

Our report on the use of barrier-free solutions in interior design was also shared by, among others, realista.ingatlan.com: https://realista.ingatlan.com/kereskedelmi/innovativ-megoldasok-segitik-az-epuletek-akadalymentes-kialakitasat/
