In a ceremony with Futureal Group, the developer of the projects, we unveiled the bronze plaques of the Construction Excellence Award at Etele Plaza and Budapest One. The two projects won the prestigious award in December, the former in the commercial category and the latter in the office category. The competition was judged by a Jury of national experts for the complete realisation of the buildings.
Situated at the junction of Kelenföld and Őrmező, the two buildings are now a key feature of the area, with Etele Plaza quickly becoming a popular destination for shoppers and Budapest One being used by a number of successful companies. Both buildings were designed to be sustainable and future-proof, both in terms of materials and energy consumption. In addition, it was important to us that both the shopping centre and the open-plan office building could be integrated into the daily life of the neighbourhood and be a welcome destination for locals and visitors, for example with large green spaces and bright, spacious areas.
We are proud that the two public buildings designed by our office have already been successful in numerous international and national competitions, and the bronze plaques are a fitting tribute to their recent recognition!
