A milestone in the renovation of Nádor St. 21: the glass roof has been installed over the inner courtyard, becoming one of the most defining feature of the project.

The historic office building is being reborn with a 5-degree sloped, 9×10.5-meter roof structure, featuring Schüco FWS60HI triple glazing and concealed drainage. It combines elegance and modern engineering in a way that honors the building’s heritage.

During the design process, special emphasis was placed on the “N” motif, a subtle reference to the emblem of the former „Wood Bank”. The installation required exceptional engineering precision: the steel structure was lifted into place in three large segments and then it was assembled on site.

For us, this is what responsible future design means. It’s embracing contemporary innovation while preserving and celebrating architectural heritage.
