We are proud to be part of SPACE4Cities, an EU Horizon funded program that brings together architecture and aerospace innovation to tackle real-world urban challenges. To succeed we even joined forces with the great minds at Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS to support our development.

The initiative’s goal? To harness the power of satellite data, digital simulation and architectural thinking to make cities more resilient, efficient and sustainable.

Our contribution to the program, Urban Energy Scan, is one of the 20 innovations featured in the SPACE4Cities Innovation Catalogue. Now, we have until September to finish designing our service and work out any potential difficulties. We are grateful for the help from our partners, the Data Centric Spatial and Risk Research group of the renowned Fraunhofer IIS in the pursuit of this exciting goal.

If we progress in SPACE4Cities’ framework, we will have another 1.5 years to create a pilot project and develop Urban Energy Scan fully market ready.

This is part of the SPACE4Cities project that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme via EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA).
