Our experts talked about using Earth observation data in developing a groundbreaking service. HeatScape Resolve provides a reference point that is capable of redefining how urban thermal dynamics are modelled and managed. In a comprehensive report for Hely.hu, Dr. Gergely Paulinyi, CEO of Paulinyi & Partners, Dr. Réka Sárközi, parametric architect, and Roland Németh, automation development leader, shared their experiences on the development of HeatScape Resolve, created in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).

The system uses advanced simulation technology, which allows for high accuracy urban heat maps. By integrating satellite data and field measurements, we can get an accurate picture of how the urban environment is heating up and more importantly, how it can be consciously influenced by architectural and urban planning tools. The aim is not only to study the environment, but also to optimize the urban microclimate.

The interview on Hely.hu provides detailed insight into how space technology can be used to address challenges here on Earth, whether it is planning new neighborhoods, retrofitting existing structures or even developing climate strategies.
