Staying continuously up-to-date with the latest architectural and technological solutions is a top priority for Paulinyi & Partners. That’s why it was an honor to participate in the Smart Building Tour program organised by the Dutch bGrid in Amsterdam.

Our colleague Miklós Balaskó travelled to the Netherlands with a Hungarian delegation last week, where he had the chance to learn about outstanding solutions at European level. The event which allowed him to gain insights into the inner workings of three smart buildings already in operation, including Microsoft's office building and APF's headquarters. The building tour featured a look at the latest trends in office design, fitout and interior design, which are essential for us to keep up to date as the design of architectural space also plays an important role in employee performance. Our colleague had the opportunity to explore innovative IoT solutions and observe the optimization of modern high-end office buildings—experiences that closely align with the strategies employed by Paulinyi & Partners to effectively minimize our clients' OPEX costs.

Speakers shared real-life experiences on the link between smart buildings and companies' business models, and how new architectural solutions can increase efficiency and support sustainability at the same time. Industry events like this are crucial for the future of architecture: they help refresh our expertise, inspire us, and open new perspectives on digital innovation. Paulinyi & Partners remains committed to building a sustainable future, prioritizing human-centered and environmentally conscious solutions in its integrated design processes.
