More visitors than ever on the 5th Golf Cup for the Sustainable Future The event was launched 5 years ago by Mérték Group Zrt., and this year on the 9th of September we could welcome a record number of participants, 270 person. The event of a nice atmosphere, patron of which was Mr. Mihály Varga, Minister of National Economy, was held at Pannonia Golf & Country Club. HE Mr. Iain Lindsay OBE, Ambassador of Great Britain, HE Mr. Eric Fournier, Ambassador of France and HE Mr. Cheong Loon Lai, Ambassador of Malajzia also attended the event. The guests were greeted by Dr. Gergely Paulinyi, CEO-chairman of Mérték Group Zrt. and then Botond Rencz, CMP of EY Hungary, the latter company being the sponsor of the event already for the second year. Host of the event was Szilvia Bősze, Director of Business Development of Mérték Group Zrt. During the family day visitors could try golf, but a lot of other programmes were also awaiting young and old. Main topic of the event was Smart City, which was introduced by Sándor Kulcsár, Smart City Expert of the Digital Wellbeing Program and the Association of Informatics for Society, and also the installation of Platio, a Hungarian startup, which was exhibited on site. Sustainability was the key element of all programmes, and we could taste the delicacies of local small producers, while KultúrAktív Association was responsible for the entertrainment of the young.
