This year was the sixth time for Paulinyi-Reith & Partners to organize the event called “Golf cup for a sustainable future” with the contribution of Pannon Park Golf & Country Club. The event, as always, took place in a great mood.

The main topic of this year’s event was in connection with the European year of cultural heritage, announced by the European Union. As part of this, Mr. Iain Lindsay OEB, the British ambassador held a lecture titled ‘Sustainable Architecture in the United Kingdom’. The participants of the event had the opportunity to support the restoration of a historic building, the Dálnok Reformed Church, on a caritative wine auction. The amount gained on the auction will be used by the New Millennium foundation for the restoration plans and the archeological research necessary for the reconstruction.

Besides the popular golf competition, family programmes were awaiting for the audience. The children were welcomed by the colleagues and games of ‘Bárányfelhő’ Developer Children’s Center in the event tent. The favorite programme of the smaller ones was the playhouse with construction machines. The guests, while participating in the playful golf programmes and competitions of the host of the event, the Pannonia Golf & Country Club, enjoyed the culinary specialities offered by Gastro Hack. This year for the first time we enhanced the mood with live music: the Muflon Jazz Band of our colleague, Imre Haaz, who is mostly known as a senior architect associate of Paulinyi-Reith & Partners, played pleasant jazz and funky music to make the dinner even more enjoyable.

Thank you for all of our dear guests for coming! We hope to see you next year!

This year’s sponsors of the Golf cup were: EY Hungary, SMP Solutions, WHB group, Rack Autó Kft., Futureal, Webtown, Pannonia Golf & Country Club, British Embassy Budapest, Yacht Club Hungary.
