The 2nd Zoo Design Conference just ended a few days ago in Wrocław, at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Gergely Paulinyi gave a presentation of Pannon Park Biodome titled “Holistic Architectural Approach for a Sustainable Zoo Design”.

The conference included projects that comprehensively integrate animal welfare and conservation, such as the developments of Finnish Ähtäri Zoo, Budapest Zoo and the future concepts of Barcelona Zoo.

Prof. Dr. Miklós Persányi, Director General of Budapest Zoo was the chair of the “Zero Waste Approach in Zoo Design” section, where participants, besides Dutch and Danish examples, could meet the environmentally friendly energy and engineering solutions of Pannon Park Biodome.
