The new owner – Bank of China – sought to develop the maximum value level of today’s technologies with keeping the original values. Structural reconstruction or strengthening was not necessary, but whole new mechanical and electrical engineering systems were made and emphasizing the Bank’s image and preserving the original building’s historical charm, a contemporary modern interior design was made in a new eclectic mixed formation.
